Ages 12 - 14yrs, 14 - 16yrs, in groups of 7 children.

Sessions last two hours, with five sessions spread over two weeks.

This allows the children to experiment between lessons and to send

me pictures that we can then all look at together.

We learn a little of the history of photography, the important basics of

using a digital camera, how to improve pictures in the computer, and

do fun exercises that help to develop visual awareness. The emphasis

is on creativity and using pictures to tell a story. Each session includes

a trip to a close-by location to practice and have fun.

Each child chooses a theme, topic, or subject they are interested in to

take pictures of during the course. In the last session each child

creates a presentation of their topic on the computer.
